TDK Cosplay: The cosplay that Tulsa deserves

Photographer: Misti Moore

Here in the city of Tulsa (our home base city) there is only one guy that comes to mind when we think of Batman, TDK Cosplay! At conventions and events all over you are sure to see Batman walking around and posing happily for fans young and old. Even though Batman is a huge love of his this cosplayer does an assortment of others cosplays. He always brings these characters to life in awesome ways. Today we got to ask him a few questions and get to know him a little better! Enjoy!

1. What got you started in cosplay?

I've always love dressing up in costumes when I was a kid. Then growing up it didn't change. It wasn't until five years ago that I was introduced to the word cosplay.

2. How did your curse cosplay come about and you being the first Eqinox cosplayer?

Well for Curse I wanted to pick a character that would be my first home made cosplay since Bman was bought. And Aaron at Equinox showed me some of their characters and Curse was the one the just popped out at me.

3. Which is a better comfort food. Pizza or burgers?

I'd say Burgers are my comfort food. Ever since I discovered Smash Burger I can't seem to get enough haha

4. Where is somewhere you'd love to live?

I'd love to live either in Canada or UK. Both places are just eye catching in their own way.

5. Being the huge lover of Batman that you are, who is his most underrated villain?

I've never really given any thought to that but I would say a three way tie between Mad Hatter, Clay Face and Mr Freeze.

6. What are your plans for the rest of 2015?

2015 for cosplay I'm doing Sub Zero, Curse 2.0 and my original Sith character Darth Malous (pronounced Malaise). As far as 2015 for conventions, I'll be attending Tulsa Comic Expo, Tokyo in Tulsa and Wizard World Tulsa
