Finishing off the #29daysofblackcosplay celebration, we at the Cosplayoff would like to introduce you to some amazing cosplayers in the black community. This is by no means the end all of great black cosplayers! No way! This is just a few of our favorites we have found through the years!

After reading through an article tagged by one Voodoo Howyacall on Themarysue.com, I found that the author was a beautiful young cosplayer by the name Veronica Hayworth. She wrote about the postives of being a cosplayer of color and was an amazing read. And, once I looked over her cosplays, I knew she had to be shared.

Eric has been a staple in the cosplay community for years. His renditions of Batman, Superman, Spawn and SO many others have been standard for many an aspiring cosplayer. He brings to the art a feeling of power and passion that is see in every cosplay; even those where his face is covered.

Cassian Cosplay

This young cosplayer brings a depth of fandom you don't always see. Everything from her iconic Storm to Lust of Full Metal Alchemist. She also shows an excitement and enjoyment that shows through everything she does.

Kadu exudes a dark forboding that really works for his cosplays. Once again, there is a depth to his knowledge of fandom as he likes to try various characters.

Hanna Blossom Cosplay

This cosplayer brings a softness and beauty that isn't always seen in the art. She has an obvious love for the X-men, but she also branches out with Avatar characters as well as more obscure fandoms.
